Mirror Site in the FDUL

The mirror of FDUL has updated to a new system. Please use ssreader version 4.0 to download and read . Users from the campus network or student apartments can access to the system directly. If you have encounter problems (e.g. cannot find the books of the old system in the new system or cannot download), please report to e-mail libref@fudan.edu.cn .

Users from the campus network can access to the site directly, and users from student apartments must set up free proxy (libproxy.fudan.edu.cn:8080) to access the site ( set up proxy server ).

Note: users must set up proxy not only in the IE but also in the ssreader version 4.0. Please select ¡°set by users¡± in ¡°configuration¡± menu, and then input the IP address (libproxy.fudan.edu.cn) and port number (80) of proxy server.

For teachers accessing off campus, please follow the configuration steps .

Note: please download and install SSreader version 4.0 before connecting to the Super Star Main Site, and switching computers to read books downloaded must refer to the terms of use .

  Course Reserves

Course reserves are selected on the demands of teaching, including information science, mathematics, physics, life sciences, and international finance. Those books can be accessed only in the FDUL.


  CALIS China Academic Course Reserves Full-text Database.

Most part of the website was built by FDU project group of ¡°the Academic Reserves Management and Service System Project¡±, and other 51 academic libraries also participated in the work. The system includes two parts, namely, China Academic Instruction & Reference Information Database and CALIS China Academic Course Reserves Full-text Database (20,000 full-text electronic course reservers).

Note: users from campus network and student apartments can access to the database directly, and don't need to set up proxy.

Off-campus users can login in with account (username: fudandaxue1 or fudandaxue2 password:231010)

  China Academic Instruction & Reference Information Center (CAIRIC)

Most part of the website was built by FDU project group of ¡°the Academic Reserves Management and Service System Project¡±, and other 51 academic libraries also participated in the work. The system includes two parts, namely, China Academic Instruction & Reference Information Database (50,000 pieces of reference information have been collected, and 32,000 of them are on-line) and CALIS China Academic Course Reserves Full-text Database (20,000 full-text electronic course reservers).

Please note that users from campus network and student apartments can access to the database directly, and don't need to set up proxy.

  Books in the period of the Republic of China

The digitalization of books in the period of the Republic of China is part of the project, "China-US Million Book Digital Library Project ". So far, about 20,000 books have been digitalized. Only IP within campus can access to the site directly, and users must set up proxy at student apartments (libproxy.fudan.edu.cn:8080). Please download the browser DjVu Plug-in before accessing. At present, the e-books in the system have been jointly developed by domestic libraries. Users from FDU can access to all the digital resources whose original literature was provided by FDUL. For the e-books from other libraries, users have to comply with the regulations from the providers and cannot access to the resources that are not open to users. Totally, 12,000+ books in the period of the Republic of China are provided by FDUL.

  Founder Apabi Digital Resource Platform

Founder Apabi Digital Resource Platform has a collection of about 8,000 books of various subjects boutique. Users from campus network can access to the site directly.

  Eighteenth Century Collection Online

Eighteenth Century Collections Online provides access to digital images of 150,000 books published during the 18th Century. With full-text searching of approximately 33 million pages, the product allows researchers new methods of access to critical information in the fields of history, literature, religion, law, fine arts, science and more.   EEBO-Early English Books Online

Early English Books Online?, 1473-1700 (EEBO) provides digital access to more than 100,000 literary and historical classics. Through the Web, researchers can view images that accurately reflect the way the works appeared in their original printed editions. Details

  EBSCO e-book

EBSCO e-book is the world's leading provider of e-books. FDUL took part in the group purchase. FDUL users can access to 9,911 kinds of subscribed books and 3,407 kinds of copyright-free books. In all, 13,318 kinds of books can be accessed by FDUL users. Details

  Springer LINK e-books £º Domestic Mirror    International Site

Springer Link covers more than 24,200 kinds of e-books. FDUL purchased Springer LINK e-books with copyright from year 2005-2009, including books, series and reference tools. Moreover, three sets of electronic series published in 1997-2004 are free for FDUL users:
